Kathryn & Andrew's Two-Day Mallorca Elopement

Planning a meaningful elopement in Mallorca takes far more than finding a beautiful location.

When Kathryn first reached out after seeing Emily and Kenny's Mallorca elopement, they already knew one thing: they didn't want their celebration to feel rushed. Rather than fitting everything into a single day, we decided to build an experience that unfolded over two days, giving space for adventure, quiet moments, a sunset ceremony at Cap de Formentor, and portraits without ever having to watch the clock.

Over the following weeks, we carefully shaped every part of the experience together. We explored ceremony locations, accommodation, timelines and how each moment would naturally connect with the next. Every decision was made with intention.

From the very beginning, Cap de Formentor felt like the right place for their ceremony. Although it's one of Mallorca's most breathtaking locations, planning an elopement there isn't always straightforward. Access restrictions can change from year to year, so part of my role was researching the latest information, checking the latest regulations and making sure we understood exactly how the area would work before finalising the day.

This is something I include with every elopement I photograph in Mallorca. Photography is only one part of the experience. I also help couples with location scouting, access restrictions, timeline planning and all the small logistical decisions that allow the day to unfold naturally. When every detail has been carefully considered beforehand, the photographs become an honest reflection of the experience itself.

The day before their ceremony, we spent the afternoon exploring Mallorca together. We revisited different viewpoints around Cap de Formentor, confirmed the exact ceremony location, adjusted the timeline around the light, and simply enjoyed experiencing the island before the wedding day itself. Having that extra time together meant that, by the following evening, everything felt familiar, relaxed and effortless.
